Battle Clash is a light gun shooter developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1992. It requires the Super Scope peripheral to play. Set on a post-apocalyptic future Earth, you take on the role of the gunner of the Standing Tank (ST) Falcon, joining protagonist Mike Anderson to challenge the ruthless champion Anubis and his subordinate leaders. The core goal is to defeat all enemies in a series of one-on-one battles. Players can use weapons like rapid fire, energy shots, and bombs, and must block enemy attacks to defend. Each enemy ST has unique attack patterns and weaknesses, which you can exploit to deal extra damage. There are nine timed levels total—you must beat the enemy within the time limit, or the game ends. After clearing the game, you get a cheat code to enter at the title screen to unlock multiple difficulty levels. It also features a time attack mode and a two-player mode to boost replay value.
