Tinhead is a side-scrolling platform game developed by MicroProse UK, first released for the Sega Genesis in 1993. The story follows the evil space goblin Grim Squidge, who uses a vacuum-equipped ship to steal all the stars from the sky, seals them in glass orbs, and scatters them across distant planets, threatening the fabric of space and time. Players take on the role of the metal guardian Tinhead, journeying through four unique worlds with 24 levels, overcoming various obstacles and enemies to ultimately rescue the stolen stars. Game features include three-way shooting, a unique pause-and-scroll function, and hidden bonus areas.
