Super Mario All-Stars is a 1993 Nintendo compilation for the Super NES, released to mark the Famicom’s 10th anniversary. It includes remakes of four classic titles: Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 2 (USA), and Super Mario Bros. 3. The game upgrades graphics and audio to 16-bit quality, tweaks collision physics, and adds a save feature for progress tracking. Notably, since Japan and the West had different games titled Super Mario Bros. 2 on the Famicom, Japan renamed the Western version Super Mario Bros. USA, while the West called the Japanese version Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. For the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. in 2010, Nintendo released a limited Wii port, Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition. In 2020, the game joined the Super NES library on Nintendo Switch Online on September 3.
