Steven Seagal Is The Final Option (Devil Warrior Beta) is a side-scrolling action game starring famous action star Steven Seagal, originally planned for release on the Super Nintendo (SNES) platform. Developed by RSP and set to be published by TecMagik, the game was never officially released. In the game, players take on the role of Steven Seagal to carry out a series of high-risk missions. The plot revolves around the death of Seagal's partner, Jack Freeman, during a mission. Although there is no conclusive evidence, many believe Freeman might still be alive if Seagal had followed orders. Later, Seagal is assigned to team up with another experienced agent, Trish Morgan, to fight against the evil corporation known as Nanotech. The game uses a side-scrolling format, requiring players to utilize Seagal's martial arts skills and weapons to engage in intense battles with enemies. It was originally planned to feature over 1,000 frames of animation to deliver smooth action effects. However, due to various issues encountered during development, the game was never officially launched. Even so, prototype versions of the game have circulated online, allowing players to experience this unfinished work through emulators. Notably, Seagal's likeness in the game was not portrayed by the actor himself, but by Greg Goldshore, a female self-defense instructor. Overall, Steven Seagal Is The Final Option (Devil Warrior Beta) is an action-packed game. Though it never received an official release, its prototype version still offers a unique experience for retro game enthusiasts.
