Shark Tale (known as 'Shark Tale' in Japan, published by Taito) is the Japanese release of the GBA game based on the DreamWorks movie. Players take on the role of Oscar, the fish who claims to be a shark slayer, in a game that mixes side-scrolling platforming with rhythm and stealth mechanics.
The game features vivid, colorful graphics that bring the underwater city of Reef City to life. Gameplay segments vary from exploring the city and collecting items to intense chase sequences where Oscar must outswim hungry sharks. There are also rhythm-based dance stages that test the player's timing. This Japanese version offers the same core experience as the international release but with Japanese text, suitable for collectors or native speakers.
