Cosmo Police Galivan II: Arrow of Justice is a sci-fi side-scrolling action game developed by Cream and published by Nihon Bussan (Nichibutsu) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System on June 11, 1993. As the sequel to the 1985 arcade game Cosmo Police Galivan, it retains the original’s world while overhauling core gameplay.
Set when the universe faces a new alien invader threat targeting Earth, the game lets players pick one of three characters: Galivan, Queen Bee, or Metalhawk. Each has unique stats but shares core moves like punches, kicks, sweeps, uppercuts, and chargeable ranged attacks.
Unlike its predecessor, it drops item collection and weapon upgrades to focus on fast-paced combat. At the start and after each level, players allocate stat points to boost health, defense, jump height, and normal/special attack power.
It also features a two-player versus mode, where both players pick from the three heroes, and the second player can also choose one of four regular enemy types.
