Sailor Moon is a side-scrolling beat 'em up action game developed by Angel, released in Japan for the Super Famicom on August 27, 1993. Based on the first season of the manga and anime, it lets players choose from five core Sailor Guardians: Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus. Battle the Dark Kingdom across multiple levels, defeat Queen Beryl, and save Earth. Each Guardian has unique stats and skills to suit different playstyles. Combat focuses on physical attacks like punches, kicks, and enemy throws. A French version, published by Bandai, launched in France and Spain in November 1994, making it one of the few officially localized Sailor Moon games released internationally.
