Power Lode Runner is a Super Famicom game released by Nintendo in Japan on January 1, 1999 via the Nintendo Power service. Based on the classic Lode Runner series, players control protagonist Mugurukun to navigate mazes filled with gold, walls and ladders, outwit enemies, and collect all gold to unlock the next level ladder. Core mechanics include digging pits to trap enemies while avoiding falling in yourself. As part of the Lode Runner franchise, it retains its unique puzzle-action blend that challenges players' strategy and reflexes.
