DuckTales 2 is an action-platform game developed and published by Capcom for the NES in early 1993, with a Game Boy port released in November of the same year. Based on Disney’s *DuckTales* animated series, it serves as the sequel to the original DuckTales game. Players take on the role of Scrooge McDuck once again, embarking on a quest to find legendary treasures. The game features non-linear level design, allowing players to freely select and complete stages. Compared to its predecessor, it introduces gameplay improvements, new enemies, and fresh challenges, boosting fun and replay value. Released in June 1993, late in the NES lifecycle and with limited production, DuckTales 2 sold fewer copies than the first game. Still, it earns high praise from players for its polished design and rich content. Overall, DuckTales 2 is a classic action-platform title that retains the original’s strengths while adding innovations and refinements, delivering a brand-new adventure experience.
