Developed by C&E and published by American Video Entertainment for the NES in 1991, *Mermaids of Atlantis: The Riddle of the Magic Bubble* is a non-adult version of *Bubble Bath Babes* with all adult content removed. Set in the mysterious underwater world of Atlantis, players help mermaids pop colorful bubbles created by the evil emperor O-Dinten to restore recreational freedom to the sea. Gameplay resembles classic falling-block puzzle games: match 4+ same-colored bubbles to clear them and earn points. It features 3 difficulty levels, the ability to start at any level, plus single-player and two-player versus modes.
