Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates: The Revenge of Captain Hook is an NES action game developed by Equilibrium and published by THQ in 1991. Based on the animated series of the same name, players take on the role of Peter Pan to challenge the evil Captain Hook and his pirate crew and defend the peace of Neverland. The game features a total of nine levels: the first six take place in tropical jungles and caves, while the last three are set on Captain Hook's pirate ship. In each level, players must defeat all enemies to advance, culminating in a final showdown with Captain Hook. Peter Pan's primary weapon is a short sword with limited attack range, but he can achieve short-term flight by collecting fairy dust. The game also includes treasure chests and fairies that can restore health. Although the game has shortcomings in graphics and sound, its unique flight mechanics and level design bring challenges and fun to players.
