Fatal Fury Special is a classic fighting game released by SNK in 1993. Building on its predecessor Fatal Fury 2, it brings multiple improvements: faster gameplay, a combo system, and 15 playable characters, greatly enriching content and replay value.
A key highlight is its two-plane battle system, letting fighters move between front and back planes to add strategic depth. It also features a hidden character, Ryo Sakazaki from Art of Fighting, for extra challenge and fun.
Standing out among 1990s fighting games with smooth controls and a diverse roster, Fatal Fury Special remains a beloved classic for many players.
