F1 ROC II: Race of Champions is a 1993 racing game developed and published by SETA for the SNES. As the sequel to F1 ROC: Race of Champions, it retains F1 licensing and adds gameplay improvements. Players advance from local races to Group C, F3000, and finally F1, joining teams like Footwork, Larrousse, or Benetton to compete for championship points. It features a new control system similar to later F-ZERO games, with ice-like drifting and boost steering for direction correction. Powered by the ST010 DSP chip, its AI delivers aggressive, realistic F1 driver-like performance, offering a rich, challenging racing experience.
