Bike Daisuki! Hashiriya Tamashii: Rider's Spirits is a motorcycle racing game developed by Genki and published by Masaya. It launched in Japan on September 30, 1994, for the Super Famicom (Super NES).
It uses Mode 7 graphics similar to Super Mario Kart, with 5 tracks and 4 modes: Grand Prix, Chicken Run, Time Trial, and Endurance. Players pick from 8 unique characters with different stats like weight, top speed, and acceleration.
Tracks have obstacles, boost pads, jump pads, and item zones for fun and challenge. It supports 2-player split-screen; in single-player, part of the screen acts as a rearview mirror.
Notably, it uses the same DSP-1 chip as Super Mario Kart for fast floating-point and trigonometric calculations to handle complex 3D math.
Though initially only released in Japan, its unique gameplay and tribute to Super Mario Kart have earned it a following among racing game fans.
