Pokémon Stadium (Japanese: Pokémon Sutajiamu 2) is a Nintendo 64 game released by Nintendo in Japan on April 30, 1999. As the first entry in the Pokémon Stadium series, it lets players upload Pokémon caught in Generation I Pokémon titles Red/Green/Blue and Yellow to the N64 for 3D battles. It adds 6 stadium rules, expands minigame content significantly, and supports up to 4 players at once. On April 12, 2023, it was re-released in the N64 game library of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service, but the re-release cannot link with the original Red/Green/Blue/Yellow or their re-releases.
