Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics is an action platform game released by Data East for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994. Set in prehistoric times, players control caveman heroes Joe and Mac on a quest to recover a stolen crown. Battle hostile cavemen and dinosaurs, and take on huge bosses including Stegosaurus, Pteranodon, Triceratops, Plesiosaurus and T-Rex. Each defeated boss drops one of the Rainbow Stones. The game features six diverse levels across valleys, jungles, snow-capped mountains, swamps and volcanoes. It introduces a non-linear level select system: freely pick stages on the world map, and replay completed levels to earn more Stone Wheels, the in-game currency. You can also interact with villagers, buy items, gift a cavewoman you like and start a family. With rich gameplay and a humorous tone, Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics is a classic SNES title.
