Eurit is an unreleased action game prototype developed by Radical Entertainment, originally planned for the Super Nintendo (SNES) platform. Blending hide-and-seek and capture-the-flag mechanics, it delivers a unique gameplay experience. Players can choose from four distinct characters, each with unique advantages in speed, spellcasting agility, and magic capacity. Featuring a split-screen design, it is ideal for two-player versus mode. The story is set in a galaxy where the ruling ruler decides to abdicate, and a tournament between wizards and warriors is held to select a worthy successor. Players must compete on multiple planets across the galaxy to prove their strength. The core gameplay revolves around a tag-and-chase mechanic. One character starts as the "chaser," who cannot collect flags and must chase and tag other players to swap roles. The chased players must collect as many flags as possible before being caught to win the level. The game also features various obstacles and enemies; players need to build platforms, defeat enemies, and use elements like speed boost pads to increase challenge. Additionally, the game introduces a magic system. Before each level, players learn new magic skills, such as destroying platforms or summoning enemies to attack opponents. By collecting energy orbs in levels, players can charge their magic gauge to unleash powerful spells. Although Eurit was never officially released, its innovative gameplay and rich mechanics make it a noteworthy unreleased prototype for the SNES platform.
