Al Unser Jr.'s Road to the Top is a 1994 racing game released for the Super Nintendo (SNES). Players start in kart racing, then advance to snowmobiles, IROC cars, and finally Indy cars, experiencing a pro racer's journey. It features a practice mode and a "Road to the Top" mode. In the latter, players compete in four racing series, each with three tracks. Each series uses different vehicles—players choose from three cars with unique handling, top speed, braking, and acceleration stats. Players begin with karts, then move up to snowmobiles, IROC cars, and Indy cars. Strong performance across all races leads to a final showdown against Al Unser Jr. in Vancouver. The ultimate challenge is facing Al Unser Jr. at the Molson Indy Vancouver track in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Practice mode lets players train on all tracks except the final race.
