WWF Super WrestleMania is a wrestling game developed by Sculptured Software and published by Acclaim Entertainment. It launched in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) and Sega Genesis. Set in the then-World Wrestling Federation (WWF) universe, the game lets players control multiple iconic wrestlers in matches. It features several modes, including singles matches, tag team bouts, and 4-on-4 Survivor Series elimination matches. The Genesis version adds a WWF Championship mode, where players pick one wrestler, defeat all opponents one by one, and claim the WWF title. For controls, all wrestlers share a standard moveset with moves like body slam, back suplex, dropkick, hip toss, and elbow drop. The Genesis version gives each wrestler a unique finishing move that can be used anytime during a match. The roster varies by platform. The SNES version has 10 wrestlers: Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, Jake Roberts, The Undertaker, Sid Justice, Road Warrior Hawk, Road Warrior Animal, Earthquake, and Typhoon. The Genesis version has 8 wrestlers: Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, Ultimate Warrior, Shawn Michaels, Irwin R. Schyster, Papa Shango, and British Bulldog. WWF Super WrestleMania received mixed reviews at the time. German magazine Aktueller Software Markt rated the Mega Drive/Genesis version "satisfactory" and the SNES version "good".
