Teitoku no Ketsudan II is a WWII naval strategy game released by Koei in 1993, the second entry in the "Teitoku no Ketsudan" series. Set in the Pacific War, players take on the role of Commander-in-Chief of the Japanese Combined Fleet or US Pacific Fleet, commanding naval forces for strategic deployment and tactical operations to defeat the opposing nation. Compared to its predecessor, the second game adds many new elements, such as the introduction of army forces, classification of military aircraft types and models, and subdivision of cruisers, making the game more historically accurate. The monthly meeting system is a key feature of this title, where players use a card game mechanic to set goals, conduct diplomacy, allocate resources, and recruit troops. The game offers multiple scenarios, including long and short campaigns, covering historical battles such as the Attack on Pearl Harbor, the Battle of Midway, and the Guadalcanal Campaign. Additionally, the Power Up Kit expansion adds new scenarios and features to enhance replayability. However, the game uses a turn-based combat system with a grid-based battlefield map, which has poor operability and has received mixed reviews from players. Despite this, its unique meeting system and rich content have earned it a place among strategy game enthusiasts.
