Super Ninja Boy is a 1991 action RPG developed by Culture Brain for the Super Famicom. Blending classic RPG elements with side-scrolling action, it lets players control Jack and switch to co-op mode with a second player controlling Ryu anytime. Both characters share EXP and stats for balanced gameplay. Set in the fictional Chinaland, players explore regions, encounter random enemies, and enter side-scrolling battles where they can jump, attack, throw foes, and use special skills and items. Some levels add platform-jumping challenges for variety. Progress is saved via a password system. As part of the Super Chinese series, it carries forward the franchise’s signature features and influenced later entries.
