Super Mario All-Stars (Japanese: Sūpā Mario Korekushon) is a compilation game released by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, marking the 10th anniversary of the Famicom launch. It includes remakes of four classic titles: Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, and Super Mario Bros. 3.
These remakes feature upgraded 16-bit graphics and sound, with minor tweaks to collision physics. A save function was also added, allowing players to save their progress at any time.
Notably, the "Super Mario Bros. 2" released for the Famicom in the West and Japan are different games sharing the same name. Japan rebranded the Western version as Super Mario Bros. USA, while the West named the Japanese version Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels.
In 2010, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., Nintendo released a limited Wii port titled Super Mario All-Stars: 25th Anniversary Edition.
In 2020, for the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., Nintendo announced the game would join the Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online library on September 3.
