Radical Rex is a side-scrolling action-adventure game developed by Beam Software, first released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1994. The game follows Rex, a fire-breathing Tyrannosaurus rex who rides a skateboard on a mission to save the dinosaur race. Players control Rex through ten prehistoric levels, including lush jungles, dark forests, haunted dinosaur graveyards, piranha-infested underwater caves, and even the insides of a giant dinosaur. Rex has various abilities like breathing fire, jump-kicking, swinging on vines, and unleashing screen-shaking roars. With tight pacing, catchy music, and well-designed enemies and boss fights, it delivers plenty of challenges and fun for players.
