Q*bert 3 is a puzzle game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), developed by Realtime Associates and published by NTVIC in 1992. As a sequel to the classic arcade title Q*bert, it retains the core gameplay of the original while adding new innovations and expanded content.
Players control Q*bert, jumping across cube-shaped platforms arranged in pyramid-like levels. The goal is to change every cube to a specified color to clear each stage. Along the way, you must dodge pursuing enemies, including returning foes from the first game like Coily, Ugg, Slick, Sam, Wrong Way, and Red Ball, plus new additions such as Frogg, Top Hat, and Derby.
Q*bert 3 features 100 levels in total, including hidden stages, offering rich gameplay content and varied challenges. The game’s art was designed by Jeff Lee, who also worked on the original Q*bert, preserving the series’ iconic visual style.
As a puzzle game, Q*bert 3 tests both your reaction speed and strategic thinking, as you need to plan the best jumping routes to avoid enemies and reach level objectives. Difficulty ramps up steadily as you progress, delivering ongoing challenge and fun for players.
