K.H. Rummenigge's Player Manager is a football management simulation game developed by UK-based Anco and published by Imagineer for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1993. It was released under the name of iconic German footballer Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in Germany, and under Kevin Keegan’s name in other regions.
In the game, players take on the role of a player-manager, aiming to lead their team to league titles through both team management and on-pitch participation. It features three management difficulty levels, a three-tier league system, and two cup competitions. Players can directly control their team during matches, choose to watch games, or let the AI simulate results.
Key features include training, scouting, and news report systems, with each on-field position linked to a unique color. Players start their career at age 28 and automatically retire at 35, after which they can no longer directly control on-pitch players. However, they can sign family members to regain direct match control.
Blending football management simulation with hands-on match gameplay, K.H. Rummenigge's Player Manager delivers a rich, varied gaming experience.
