The iQue version of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga was a planned localization of the groundbreaking RPG. Departing from the Mushroom Kingdom, the brothers travel to the Beanbean Kingdom to recover Princess Peach’s stolen voice. The game features a unique simultaneous control system for both Mario and Luigi, blending traditional turn-based combat with real-time button prompts. Hilarious writing and inventive puzzles made this a GBA classic. Unfortunately, the iQue release was shelved, making this a rare localized version of a beloved Nintendo RPG.
