Hyper Sports is an Olympic-themed sports game released by Konami in 1984, serving as the sequel to the 1983 title Track & Field. It features seven brand-new Olympic events, where players must rely on rapid button presses and precise controls to complete various challenges.
The seven events included in the game are:

2. **Skeet Shooting**: Use the two run buttons to select left or right aim, target and hit the flying clay targets.
3. **Vault**: Press the action button to jump as you approach the vault horse, control mid-air spins with the run buttons, and try to land steadily.
4. **Archery**: Press the action button to adjust the arrow's launch angle, release the button to shoot, and aim for the bullseye.
5. **Triple Jump**: Accelerate with the run buttons, press the action button to take off, adjust your angle mid-air, and strive for the best distance.
6. **Weightlifting**: Lift the barbell by quickly pressing the run buttons, use the action button to switch positions, and raise the barbell overhead.
7. **Pole Vault**: At a preset speed, use the action button to control pole placement and takeoff, and attempt to clear the crossbar.
The game supports up to four players at the same time. Players must meet the required qualification standard in each event to advance to the next round. After completing all events successfully, the game enters a higher-difficulty cycle to push players to their limits.
