Hook is an action-platformer adapted from the 1991 film of the same name. Developed by Ukiyotei and published by Sony Imagesoft for the SNES in 1992, it follows Peter Pan returning to Neverland to save kids kidnapped by Captain Hook. Players control Peter Pan through forests, caves, snow mountains and more, fighting Hook’s henchmen and enemies. Peter starts with a dagger, and gains a powerful golden sword that fires energy balls after beating first boss Rufio. Collect pixie dust to fly briefly and avoid obstacles and traps. The game is loved for its beautiful graphics and film-faithful story.
