Haou Taikei Ryuu Knight: Paladin's Road is a Super Famicom exclusive action RPG developed by Japan Art Media and published by Bandai on December 22, 1994. Adapted from the anime series of the same name, it follows protagonist Adeu's adventure to find legendary weapon fragments across the world to become a true paladin.
Players control Adeu to freely explore vast maps, engage in real-time combat with enemies using melee weapons, and dodge attacks by jumping. Defeating monsters grants Adeu experience points to level up. Players can also summon a giant magical armor called "Dragon" anytime to boost combat power, but cannot pass narrow passages or climb stairs while transformed.
The game features a nonlinear structure, allowing players to access any area on the map at any time for high freedom. The game world mainly consists of open areas and occasional towns, where players can interact with NPCs to get quests and information.
Haou Taikei Ryuu Knight: Paladin's Road attracts many action RPG fans with its unique mechanics and rich story.
