Haou Taikei Ryuu Knight: Paladin's Road is a Super Famicom-exclusive action RPG developed by Japan Art Media and published by Bandai on December 22, 1994. Adapted from the anime series of the same name, it follows young knight apprentice Adeu, who, guided by a mysterious old man, embarks on a quest to find the legendary weapon "Earth Blade" split into twelve parts. Along his journey, Adeu acquires a giant magical armor called "Dragon" that grants him immense power. Featuring a real-time combat system similar to the Ys series, players control Adeu to explore an open world, engage enemies in melee combat, and dodge attacks by jumping. Defeating monsters grants experience points to level up. Players can summon the "Dragon" armor at any time to boost combat power, though it cannot be used in narrow passages and on staircases. The game has a non-linear structure, allowing players to freely explore all areas of the map.
