Gourmet Sentai Barayarou is a Super Nintendo (SFC/SNES) action game developed by Japanese studio Winds Co., Ltd. and published by Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Inc. on September 29, 1995. Set in Magic City, a futuristic urban hub after World War III in the 21st century, the game lets players control three modified warriors fighting the evil organization Bath. It features side-scrolling beat 'em up gameplay: players defeat enemies, collect dropped ingredients, and cook dishes with them after each level to restore health. There are 5 levels total, each ending with a "Dinner Time" segment for cooking. With its unique world and absurd character designs, it’s classified by Japanese players as a "bakage" (silly, laugh-out-loud game). It offers 3 difficulty modes; the hardest, "Atsui" mode, has no continues for extra challenge.
