M.C. Kids is a platform action game developed and published by Virgin Games in 1992, initially released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in North America. It follows two kids named Mick and Mack who enter the fantasy world of McDonaldland to retrieve Ronald McDonald’s magical bag stolen by the Hamburglar. The game features seven distinct worlds with unique levels and challenges. Players must collect hidden puzzle cards to unlock new areas and advance the story. Gameplay includes jumping, throwing blocks to attack enemies, and innovative mechanics like using spinning devices to reverse gravity. Developed by a team of just four people over eight months, it was also ported to Commodore 64, Amiga, Atari ST, and MS-DOS, and released in Europe as McDonaldland. The Game Boy version launched in Europe as McDonaldland, while other regions got a rebranded version called Spot: The Cool Adventure.
