Final Fight is a classic arcade beat 'em up series developed and released by Capcom in 1989. Set in the fictional Metro City, it follows ex-wrestler mayor Mike Haggar, Cody, and Guy as they battle the Mad Gear gang to rescue Haggar's daughter Jessica. Players pick one of three unique characters, fight through side-scrolling levels, collect food and weapons, and face off against bosses. Originally codenamed "Street Fighter '89", it was rebranded after shifting from fighting to beat 'em up gameplay. It spawned multiple sequels and home ports, including the 1990 SNES version.
