Farland Story 2: Dance of Destruction is a tactical RPG released for the Super Famicom on December 22, 1995. A spin-off of the Farland Story series, it differs from the PC version of Farland Story 2. Developed by System Supply N-Tech, it uses a turn-based grid combat system similar to the Fire Emblem series. The story is set 20 years after King Ark’s coronation, as the empire’s emperor plots to use the "Dance of Destruction" to conquer the world. The prince flees with his childhood friend — a descendant of the clan that knows the dance — to stop his father’s ambition and protect her, becoming a traitor to the empire. Featuring distinct characters like the gluttonous werewolf Klaus and the tsundere demon Varakana, the game has moderate difficulty, no class changes, hidden plots, or branching paths, making it ideal for classic SRPG fans.
