Cosmo Gang - The Video is a fixed shooter game released by Namco in 1992. Players control the spaceship Hyper Beat to defeat the chaotic alien Cosmo Gang on Earth. Gameplay resembles Namco’s classic Galaxian series: shoot enemies flying from the top and sides of the screen while dodging their bullets. Power-ups like double shot, shield, and bombs help players fight more effectively. With 32 levels, new obstacles and enemy types appear in later stages to boost challenge. It supports single-player and co-op multiplayer modes for teaming up with friends. Initially launched for arcades, it was later ported to home consoles like the Super Famicom, and re-released on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in 2023 via the Arcade Archives series.
