Adventure Island (Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima) is a quintessential 8-bit platformer by Hudson Soft. Players control Master Higgins (Takahashi Meijin) as he journeys to rescue Princess Leilani. To survive, Higgins must constantly collect fruit to maintain his stamina while avoiding obstacles and defeating enemies with stone axes. This Nokoh-localized version provides a polished experience of the 8 main worlds. With its iconic theme music and high difficulty, it is a foundation of the platforming genre on the NES.
