Ultra Baseball Jitsumei Ban is a baseball simulation game developed and published by Culture Brain for the Super Famicom on August 28, 1992. As the third entry in the "Ultra Baseball" series, it retains the franchise's signature features and adds official licensing from Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB), including real team rosters and player names.
Players can choose from 18 real pro baseball teams, control 468 authentic players, and play full nine-inning matches. The game offers multiple modes including a full season mode and practice mode, letting players strengthen their team through various methods.
Visually, it uses multiple camera angles to boost immersion and presentation. It also keeps the series' staple special abilities, like super-powered batting and pitching, adding fun and strategic depth.
Released exclusively in Japan, it was well-received by baseball fans. Culture Brain later released sequels Ultra Baseball Jitsumei Ban 2 (1994) and Ultra Baseball Jitsumei Ban 3 (1995) to expand the series.
