Tetris Flash (Japanese: Tetorisu Furasshu, English: Tetris 2) is a puzzle game developed and published by Nintendo. It launched for Game Boy and NES in 1993, and came to Super NES in 1994.
A spin-off of the classic Tetris, Tetris Flash keeps the original gameplay while adding new elements. Players match and clear falling four-block pieces by color. Three or more connected same-colored blocks disappear, similar to Dr. Mario.
It has single-player and multiplayer modes, so you can play with friends. The soundtrack was composed by Mitsuhiro Takano and Miyuki Uemura, creating a fun atmosphere.
After release, Tetris Flash drew attention from players and media. Electronic Gaming Monthly said if you love Tetris, this game is for you.
Overall, Tetris Flash innovates on classic gameplay, giving players a brand-new experience.
