Super Star Wars is an action platformer developed by LucasArts and published by JVC Musical Industries for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1992. Adapted from the 1977 film *Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope*, it faithfully recreates the movie’s plot and scenes. Players control iconic characters like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca, wield weapons such as lightsabers and blasters, traverse landmark locations including the Tatooine desert and the Death Star, and battle Imperial forces and various enemies. Praised for its stunning graphics, smooth controls, and rich level design, it is one of the most beloved titles on the SNES platform.
