Super Keirin is a Super Famicom game developed by Be Top and exclusively released in Japan by I'Max on July 14, 1995. Blending gambling and life simulation elements, it lets players take on the role of a bicycle racer, earning money by betting and competing at local velodromes. Its cute anime-style graphics make it more lighthearted and fun than other Super Famicom gambling games.
Before races, players can visit the shopping district to buy supplies from pharmacies, 24-hour convenience stores, and clothing shops, and interact with NPCs there. They can also bet on other bicycle races by purchasing parimutuel tickets for big prizes, and read newspapers to check other race results.
Each race typically has nine riders competing over five laps on a velodrome with four steeply banked turns, requiring a balance between aggressive and passive riding. Race info is available via the in-game database. Players can choose Story Mode or Party Mode for different bicycle racing life experiences.
After launch, it received a score of 23 out of 40 from *Famicom Tsūshin* magazine.
