Picross NP Vol. 6 is a puzzle game developed by Jupiter and published by Nintendo for the Super Famicom in Japan on February 1, 2000. As the sixth entry in the Picross NP series, it is a nonogram (picross) game.
Players fill in grid squares based on number clues from each row and column to reveal hidden images. Wrong fills incur penalties, and the full image appears once all correct squares are filled.
Its Character Mode features characters from the Nintendo 64 game Super Mario 64, with 12 character puzzles including Bowser, Mario, Penguin Mom and Baby, Whomp, Wiggler, and Bowser.
On the title screen, if no button is pressed for a short time, the game automatically plays a Picross tutorial. After the tutorial, the drawn image shows the face of Nintendo's mascot, Mario.
As the sixth Picross NP installment, Picross NP Vol. 6 retains the series' classic gameplay and boosts fun and challenge by featuring Super Mario 64 characters.
