New Rainbow Islands is a vibrant remake of the 1987 arcade classic, reimagined for the dual-screen era. Play as Bubby and Bobby as they climb to the top of the islands to rescue their friends from the Great Demon. The game utilizes the DS touch screen to let you draw rainbows that serve as both weapons and platforms. Draw circles to trap enemies or triangles for special effects! This version features beautiful new graphics, vertically scrolling stages that span both screens, and a host of new power-ups and boss fights. With its cheerful music and addictive platforming action, New Rainbow Islands is a colorful blast from the past that feels brand new.
