Micro Machines is a classic racing game developed by Codemasters. First released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1991, it was later ported to multiple platforms including the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Based on Hasbro’s iconic micro toy cars of the same name, the game lets players control tiny vehicles to race across everyday settings like breakfast tables, office desks and treehouses.
The creatively designed, one-of-a-kind tracks require players to dodge obstacles such as cereal boxes on breakfast tables and pencil sharpeners on desks. It offers multiple modes, including single-player challenge and two-player versus. In single-player mode, players must finish in the top two per race to advance, and unlock extra chances via time trials held every three races. In two-player mode, competitors race head-to-head for the lead.
