Lufia & the Fortress of Doom is a 1993 RPG developed by Neverland and published by Taito for the SNES. As the first entry in the Lufia series, it follows the hero and their party on a quest to stop the four powerful Sinistrals from reviving. Featuring classic turn-based combat, players explore the world, fight random enemies, level up characters, learn new skills, and collect gear and items. Beloved for its engaging story and rich character development, it spawned multiple sequels that expanded the Lufia universe.
