Kid Klown in Crazy Chase is an action-platform game released by Kemco in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Played from an isometric perspective, you control the clown Kid Klown on a mission to save Princess Honey from the villain Black Jack. The core gameplay has Kid Klown sprinting down obstacle- and trap-filled roads, chasing a lit fuse to stop it from detonating a bomb at the end of each level. In every stage, you must collect four playing card suit items and reach the finish before the fuse sets off the bomb—otherwise you have to restart the level. The game features five levels: Forest, City, Volcano, Iceberg, and Ghost Cave. After beating each level, you earn a key used to free the imprisoned Princess Honey in the final stage. There are three endings based on your performance: the best ending unlocks if you rescue the princess with all five Honey Hearts and no continues; the normal ending triggers if you save the princess but miss some Honey Hearts or use continues; and the worst ending plays if you fail to rescue her. In 2002, the game was re-released for the Game Boy Advance, adding 11 new levels, four unlockable minigames, and a multiplayer mode.
