Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures is a 1994 platform action game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Adapted from the first three Indiana Jones films—Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)—it lets players take on the role of the legendary archaeologist to relive iconic movie scenes and plots. Developed by Factor 5 and published by JVC Musical Industries, the game uses a side-scrolling perspective. Players control Indiana Jones through various levels, attacking with his signature whip and picking up weapons like pistols and grenades. It also features diverse gameplay such as flying planes, mine carts, and rafts, boosting fun and challenge. With 28 levels covering the main plots of the three films, players must complete Raiders of the Lost Ark levels first to unlock Temple of Doom and Last Crusade content. The game is quite difficult, with some complex level designs that require good operation skills and reaction speed. It received positive reviews upon release, especially for its faithful adaptation of movie plots and diverse gameplay. Despite its high difficulty, its rich content and tribute to the films make it a classic among Indiana Jones video games.
