F1 Pole Position (Japanese: Human Grand Prix) is a Formula 1 racing game developed by Human Entertainment and released in Japan on November 20, 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It features three modes: Battle, World Grand Prix, and Test Run. Battle mode lets players pick any track and race conditions to compete against up to 13 opponents. World Grand Prix mode lets players take part in a full F1 season, earning points from race results to climb the overall standings. Test Run mode allows players to practice on tracks without interference from other drivers. The game includes 16 tracks, and players can adjust their car’s steering, tires, gears, brakes, wings, and suspension to optimize performance.
