Super Professional Baseball Stadium supervised by Osamu Higashio is a baseball game developed by C-Lab and published by Tokuma Shoten. It was released for the Super Famicom in Japan on September 30, 1993. Supervised by Osamu Higashio, a Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher and former Nippon Professional Baseball player, the game aims to deliver an authentic baseball experience.
It uses a vertical pitching-batting perspective, similar to Namco’s Famista series. The view adjusts based on the player’s team during pitching and batting, keeping the player’s team always on the front of the screen. This design boosts immersion and gameplay feel.
Before this title, Osamu Higashio also supervised two Game Boy baseball games published by Tokuma Shoten: *Osamu Higashio Supervised Professional Baseball Stadium '91* and *Osamu Higashio Supervised Professional Baseball Stadium '92*. These works laid the groundwork for the development of *Super Professional Baseball Stadium supervised by Osamu Higashio*.
The game supports single-player and two-player versus modes. Players can pick different teams to compete and experience the charm of Nippon Professional Baseball.
