Goof Troop is a 1993 action-adventure game developed and published by Capcom for the SNES, based on the Disney animated series of the same name. It supports single-player and two-player co-op, with players controlling Goofy or his son Max.
Set on Spoonerville Island, the game features five areas: beach, besieged village, ghost castle, caves, and a final pirate ship, where players must rescue kidnapped Pete and PJ. Goofy moves slowly but hits hard, while Max is fast but has weaker attacks.
Players solve puzzles like pushing blocks and using a grappling hook to cross obstacles. Enemies can’t be attacked directly—players defeat them by throwing items (barrels, bombs) or using the environment. Tools like the grappling hook, bell, candle, shovel, plank, and key help progress.
Each level ends with a boss fight, won using throwable items in the area. A password system lets players resume from specific levels.
Loved for its co-op play and puzzle design, Goof Troop is a classic SNES title.
