George Foreman's KO Boxing is a boxing simulation game developed by Beam Software and published by Acclaim Entertainment in 1992. Starring legendary heavyweight champion George Foreman, players step into the shoes of the iconic fighter to take on a series of opponents and vie for the world title. Played from a third-person perspective, the game lets players move left and right to dodge attacks, defend, and throw various punches like jabs and hooks. By successfully dodging and landing hits, players build up energy to unleash a powerful "Super Punch" that deals massive damage. Bouts last up to three 3-minute rounds. A fight ends if a fighter is knocked down 4 times total or 3 times in a single round. Knocked-down players must rapidly press two punch buttons to get back up. An on-screen energy bar depletes when hit and partially recovers between rounds and after knockdowns. All versions except the Game Boy release support two-player versus mode, and a password system lets players save their progress.
